Hmmm mine only took a week to process but it was a renewal and I just got it yesterday. The renewal is much much easier

Thank you for this. I have my interview next month and will also be going to a border crossing from the Canada side, so this was helpful. A couple of questions: 1) Do you drive your car/park on the Canadian or US side? i.e., are you getting back in line to get back into Canada? 2) Do you meet with the US and Canadian officials at the same time, or is it like two mini interviews?

I just had my interview in Michigan so idk if it’s too late but for me I went to port Huron Michigan, it’s literally right passed the US border, first exit to the right. There was a US and Canadian officer there. The US one asked me questions and the Canadian one explained all the rules. So it’s just one time slot, two officers

Me and my fiancè applied in June 12, 2024 and received an email on July 3, 2024 to schedule an interview. So quick! 3 weeks turnaround! Will be going on August 8, 2024 at the border for the land border interview.

So me and my son got conditional approval but my husband is still pending his an Indian citizen but has Canadian Pr. I’ve read some people in the forum that CBP ask for police clearance from India. Did they ask you guys? Or are you Canadian citizens already

I didn’t have iris for mine, from my understanding they are now using facial recognition instead

I have dual Canadian US citizenship. I have 2 passports. I use my Canadian Passport to enter Canada then I use my US passport to come back to the US.

Hi, are you a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident. The rule for PR is 3 years on PR, not sure if it mean 3 years on PR or 3 years as legal resident student, worker and then as a PR (TOTAL ACCOUNTING TO 3 YEARS)

Are you a Canadian PR? If yes, do they stop the vehicle and ask you to wait until i94 is issued even if you were using Nexus?

I am Canadian citizen. However, Canadian permanent residents (PRs) are considered non-citizens and are required to carry both their PR card and passport when traveling to and from Canada. The PR card serves as proof of their status in Canada, while the passport is used for border crossing purposes. If a Canadian PR is using NEXUS to enter the US, they may be subject to secondary inspection, which is a routine security check. During this process, they may be asked to wait while their information is verified. However, this is not always the case and the frequency and length of secondary inspections can vary based on a variety of factors. It is always best to carry all necessary documentation and be prepared for the possibility of a secondary inspection.

Only on land borders or at airport. 2 step interview , one on canadian side and other on USA side. You can also do it at airport for canadian portion. US portion at airport will be done when you book your next site.

Hello, I have been given conditional approval, I booked an interview at Pearson airport Toronto, and inthe email confirmation they are stating that the booking is for the interview with CBSA only, the other half will be completed at pre clearance with US customs whenever I have fight to the USA, what if I am not flying to the US in the near future? I won't get approved until I fly to the US? or is there anyway I can do both interviews at the same day without actually flying to the states? any help would be much appreciated.

I am an Indian passport holder and PR holder . Do I need a Non immigrant US Visa to cross the border for attending Nexus Pass interview?

As an Indian passport holder and Canadian Permanent Resident, you may not need a non-immigrant US visa to attend a NEXUS pass interview. However, it is best to check the requirements for entering the US as a Canadian PR with an Indian passport, as the rules and regulations can change frequently. Good Luck!

@@sediqstumaan888 no longer than 183 days a year. If it’s for one month then have a good explanation as to why that long. People go to US for holidays, medical treatment, school or they own property there. With Nexus card you’re considered trusted traveller as long as your honest and don’t break any laws !
