it's not that, it's other countries are getting a lot better every year which I prefer! It makes for exciting tournaments when it used to always be Canada - USA finals but it's been very different over the last few years!

Well my Russian bear comrade, we met again in the finals... Don’t cry. Great game, horrible officiating. Canada should have been in the box for the puck over the glass but the IIHF has some weird rules. Russia is an amazing hockey country. Good game! 🍻

you think if we formed a team of best players of Finland+Russia+Sweden+Czech we'd beat Canada+US? Possible, but I don't think europe would be favorites. Them americans have way more players than us.

@@brenzyc8703 Well I dunno who'd win, it would come down to which team has better teamplay I think, Europe also have plenty of superstars, but in pure speculation when we are trying to figure who would be "favorite" to win, I'd say it still comes down to who has larger talent pool. Sweden+Russia+Finland+Czech have like 350 000 hockey players all together, while Canada alone has almost 700 000. No european country has so high ratio in population vs amount of hockey players. And it kinda shows in amount of superstars as well. Although, both teams would have absolutely sick rosters with all four lines filled with superstars.

Да и вообще это МЧМ - здесь за исключением пары вундеркиндов которых не отпустили из НХЛ - всегда сильнейшие составы. Я тоже не питаю особенных надежд относительно нашей сборной против Канады на взрослом уровне, т.к. у них хоккеистов в семь раз больше чем у нас и на дистанции, несмотря на локальные победы - Канада сильнее. Но не сегодня...
