All those girls on the Canadian team played college ball in the USA. Maglio, Gray, etc.

No, no they didn’t. Kira van Ryke didn’t, Hilary Johnson didn’t, Brie o’reilly didn’t. Neither didn kacey jost or Julia murman. I think only 4 players on the 12 person roster played in the United States

They're giving more experiences to play for their bench players in preparation to Paris since USA already qualified to olympics. So they'd opted to rest their main guns and let the bench players to play. Other teams who also qualified in olympics doing this.
