I had hopes for Pierre Poilievre but he's got as much substance when he speaks as Justin... That's little to none. All the does is point fingers and use buzzwords with very little explanation of what he would do differently and how he would get there. My biggest problem though is his style. He makes me feel like Canada is just an irrelevant version of the USA. His rhetoric is toxic and not conducive to any productive debate. He does well to call our the Liberals in the House but he does it in the most divisive and provocative way imaginable. It excites his base but turns off the average person. As much as a change from a Liberal government sounds refreshing, Pierre Poilievre is making himself look like a gamble, where I would have hoped he'd market himself as a more rational, better calculated individual. Canada needs a uniter and Pierre Poilievre has yet to show that he understands that.

@Grand Muff Twerkin A balance budget is good to have, but investing in the future is more important. Debt is a serious issue, if it isn't under control, but a good thing if used and managed right.

Surprised Security even let this guy in Bloomberg LP in the first place. When this interview came on my Terminal I was shocked. Suffice it to say, Justin didn't answer any of David's questions with any substance anyway. Regarding Teck Resources, it is Pierre Pollievre who's dissenting against that Merger, not JT. Canada does not have to be the leader in climate initiatives, and we can't afford it. Taxpayers don't give a crap about Co2 emissions when many Canadians can barely afford to put food on the table and feed their families! Out of touch!

Very interesting and diplomatic answers from Canadian PM, for me as a citizen I am surprised when I hear Canada has resources underground and on the ground, has minerals and peoples and these is true, but Canada want others to come here and invest, they have companies. Haw the others have companies and Canada has not, haw Canadians have not learned to make sustainable companies with capital and invest and compete on the market. Looks we have a new Canadian Paradox.
