Wow nice video trip from Ellesmere to Llangollen with beautiful countryside.

We (myself, hubby, two girls and the dog) are doing this route in May. Our first hols in three years. Looks much more fun than sitting frying on a beach :) can't wait! Thanks for the video.

i think narrowboats a just wonderful to be able to see Wales in all its beauty a sense of freedom you get just watching it on youtube how much more then to really be there thank you for sharing a great moment in time and place cheers

My wife and I, with my brother and his wife did this exact trip in December. A bit chilly but we didn't care. You video is outstanding, don't change a thing. Makes me want to do this in July. Thanks so much for sharing.

Did the 4 day mid week break on the Llangollen two weeks ago.... brings it all back- thanks for posting! We used ABC Boat Hire too- wonderful holiday and happy friendly people. If you are thinking about trying it- do, you'll not regret it!

Brings back happy memories. 40 years ago I was at school in Ellesmere (not a happy time there), but I would regularly escape by kayaking along this stretch of canal. Eventually getting good & fit enough to complete the Devizes to Westminster Race.

The best vid yet on the Llangollen canal, you should be proud of yourself. We [wife and I] are doing it end of Sept.

Lovely video, thank you for sharing. Can I ask a dumb question. It appears that many tunnels are wide enough only for one boat. How do you determine if the tunnel is clear for you to pass through it? In other words, how does one avoid meeting another boat head on in the tunnel? Any input would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you kindly to anyone who can explain.

Lovely video, but the sounds emanating from that damaged throat ruin the first half of this trip. Did he gargle with kerosine and carpet tacks? Did he try to have a singing career without learning to sing?

Why, oh why, do people need to put unncessary "music" on videos. What's wrong with either the background sounds or silence!!!

Beautiful musical choices, editing was very jumpy.

Please re upload this video without any background music especially Rod Stewart singing.

I actually think that the song is great - but not on this video. It would have been better without in my humble opinion but then many others would disagree.
