I was looking forward to watching you pushing the new wood, watching you navigating the locks isn't boring for us land dwellers.

The Wardle Canal is the shortest canal in the UK at 154 feet (47 m), this connects the Trent and Mersey Canal to the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal. The Wardle Canal also has one lock on it. It was built in 1829 so that the navigation authority of the Trent and Mersey Canal could maintain control over the junction. (This piece is thanks to Wikipedia) The 'wich' refers to a salt town. Hence in that area you have Middlewich, Nantwich & Northwich. All of which are in the salt mining area. I also liked the filming of the ice breaking at canal level.

Life's back to normal again and I can start catching up to this wonderful channel. Our daughter saw two episodes and she's convinced that we live in the wrong country. Cheerss guys!

Hi boys top video yet again your at the lock I stopped at for the night the pub is not to bad for food and the chip shop is ok and the road is very quiet at night. You never no if you go straight on you may see my narrow boat if the new owners have not pick it by then. I do so miss being on the water. Just didn’t get to use it for a year coming up to 2 years now. Have fun lads may see you out and about one day.
