Twitter hashtag #CancelDreamcon has people enraged and defending there favorite creators. Original video made by Tiktok account TheRealKima goes on a rant about how unhappy DreamCon2023 was for them. They even went to the existent to call for the cancelation of the event and tried to "de-influence" future goers from attending in the future.
Although the video his made from a very emotional POV it was filled with valid criticism but the community behind ‪@RDCworld1‬ and ‪@DreamCon‬ only focused on the extrem take and chose to give more negative energy to the creator of the now controversial video.
This video breaks down those videos and tweets while also trying to give insight from my personal account of actually being a DreamCon attendee.

She was calm. Didn’t cuss, didn’t yell, she didn’t disrespect anyone. Hell yeah she was frustrated but she got her point across in a great manner 🤷🏽‍♀️ And I was about to say money isn’t nothing to trip about bc you can always make it back (unlike time) But someone going that extra mile to spend more money for better perks and you have others who didn’t, but they’re getting those perks is insane…. That’s bold as hell. Lastly, no influencer should be influencing an audience to cut/skip and rob ppl of the experience they paid for…… Dreamcon should really speak up on this situation fr

Ive said it before but ill say it here. even with all the issues i still wished i could have gone. i wanted that experience and i wanted to meet people. with a growing product there are bound to be issues but RDC took note of them and wants to improve

yes dreamcon has potential yet felt discourage by the lines and plus everyone seem to be a clout chaser or only know overated characters #canceldreamcon

I truly don’t want to cancel the con. Cause it has room for improvement. Just don’t like how loud the yes men/women are. Would love for this space for me to connect with my mutuals to get even better.

People get extra emotional on twitter but the video loved it.. the changes 🤌🏽 my 2cents RDC needs to make some type of statement saying that things will be different next year the fact that she says she would go back and but just isn’t sure how it would go , them making a video speaking about changes to come could put people at ease… and maybe they’ll do that closer to next con 🤷🏽‍♀️… BUT overall I really enjoyed this video and the conversation about it
