The relationship with the father rings so true. My dad is 86 now & his health is going downhill. I see him as more frail & vulnerable where he was always so strong & solid. I am filled with immense love & respect for him, he didn't give me everything i needed emotionally growing up, but he was a good dad and a good man who provided for his family & i feel enormous unconditional love for him ❤

This makes so much sense. After my divorce a few years ago, I moved in with my Dad out of necessity. He’s provided a safety net and stability for me that I will be eternally grateful for. However, it’s brought up all my daddy issues, like resentment for the things I needed as a child that he couldn’t provide. I see he has his own wounds and has done the best he could. I’m definitely able to see it all with kinder eyes recently, and this Christmas I want to celebrate him. It’s been interesting too that Saturn (father) has been zig-zagging over my moon @ 29 ♒️ for the past couple years. I’m relieved that this energy is lightening up and feel 2024 will be a much better year. Thanks Molly and happy holidaze! 💝

I had a similar circumstance with my dad but then I realized his childhood was worst- how can I resent him? He tried his best from the role modeling he received. We have to forget and move-on especially after becoming parents ourselves. We all make mistakes but we can all be better people by accepting and transcending the negative experiences we had with our progenitors.

Wow... thank you. At 60 yrs old, I am resonating so much with this message. My mom has dementia, sisters and I dealing with her demands to stay in her own home as best we can. She was rough to have as a mother. Rough and ripe with neglect. One sister and I still cry over how here we are-- still serving Mom and she still only sees whatever lacks. Ive made the decision to put her into nursing care next spring because I am not willing to get swallowed up by Mom again. I love her, I respect her journey, but she has been in the middle of my life too long. No more.

I hope that a new insight rises about your mother that will bring peace for you all. Unfortunately its not easy dealing with years of trauma for all parties. I do recommend a good dose of vitamin d3, around 5000 IU at least a day, and I've noticed a great transformation in the brightness within people and it does truly help them feel more positive and express more positivity. Many people who are like the way you describe your experience of your mom, are vitamin D3 deficient. In Australia we have 2/3 people deficient and yet its such a sunny country, which shows its the inner sunshine that is missing and usually its dues to some kind of trauma that came like a dark cloud and blocks the inner light from shining through. I hope this helps in some way, wishing you and your family peace, good will and blessings this Christmas.

p.s. I think this message is also being expressed in Molly's astrology of this Cancer full moon, as Pisces represents compassion and care, and you see that Saturn (restrictions and blockages) is in Pisces trining the Moon (at 4 degrees meaning the inner and outer home). The Sun is in Capricorn, the sign ruled by Saturn and was said to have represented the Gates of Hell (darkness) showing that the light was within darkness. As Molly said, "can you let them off the hook for something they couldn't provide", especially as we see the Sun being in darkness, which caused the lack of love and compassion within our person. Its also interesting that Jupiter, the great benevolent planet is in Taurus, the sign that relates to food, resources, currency, love and beauty and its also the sign where the Moon is exalted (uplifted) which to me indicates that great changes are possible for the Moon, by what is taking in, and which will help the light (Sun) to come out of the darkness as it is being trined by Jupiter. Jupiter in Taurus also represents abundance of those Venusian qualities, and is squaring Saturn in Pisces, which means to me Saturn can't limit this abundance and is an opportunity to break an old cycle of limitations and lack of love, care, and nurture. As you know its very difficult or impossible to give what you are not able to access yourself due to conditioning and traumas we go through. It took me good doses of Vitamin D3 to help allow the light to manifest during difficulties and times of dark nights of the Sol, and because of my own personal experience and those who have also taken it, I know that its not always a person being down, negative or mean per se, its just the sol that is being blocked, which goes to show that the Sun is love, light and truth. The blockage of light causes others in our life to be traumatised too, which is darkness causing darkness (tears, low states, depression etc), and the remedy I see for all parties is Vit D3 at high doses to begin with and settling down to a regular normal dose thereafter. Anyways, that's it, was just thinking of you all and wanted to offer some of my experience in case it should be of any worth for you and your family.

I had a similar “graduation” right as my own mother was aging and then moving into hospice care. It’s never too late to parent ourselves as only we ourselves ever truly can (the gift and learning I have had thru my own narcissistic parent journey). Wishing you the best on your journey.❤

Wow Molly. Your bit about the father brought back a dream I had a few nights ago where my dad (who passed away in 2013) was driving a car with mum in the passenger seat and me in the back seat & as we were driving along a cliffs edge he didn’t turn in time and he drove straight over the edge .. And when I tell you it was the calmest moment, like a peace came over all three of us .. nobody yelled or panicked, it was as if our car was gliding in the air and we were flying serenely and time slowed down and I could see the ground miles and miles below us .. We all knew the inevitability of how that moment would end but we just sat there and I was the only one who spoke and said ‘it’s ok, it’s ok.’ Not as reassurance about what was to come but as forgiveness towards my dad so he wouldn’t carry any guilt about that moment. Wow. I didn’t know what that dream meant until right now. As I listened to you talk about AA Michael saying ‘it’s ok let it go’.. and suddenly I have tears just writing this. How beautiful. I’ve been contemplating this the last few days. It seems there were times in childhood and young adulthood when I deeply was truly in need and those with the ability to help, simply chose not to, and I suffered deeply. Horribly. I have not ever been able to put an understanding of this feeling, or why it was wrong, but now I understand it is neglect through self-centeredness and unrealized fears that make one incapable of sharing. I'm already starting to receive many soul messages and answers to the questions surrounding care and love. Since 2011, I've done an incredible amount of work on my own soul's healing. Also thank you Molly for your insights about Venus in Scorpio triangle with Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn, which resonated for me in the insights about how us women can give our power away to authority figures (bosses mostly) as I've seen it in the work place, in order to maintain "harmony" - for fear of having our needs met (keeping our job to have food, shelter and clothing to survive (at its very fundamental) and this causes us to lose our personal spiritual integrity and our own feeling of womanhood decency, as pandering to bosses. I realized through the divine light of the Sun's grace (which is currently in Sagittarius - the sign ruled by Jupiter (the heavenly Father) - that its not these authority people (Pluto in capricorn) that provide us with our needs, its the Heavenly Father (Jupiter in Taurus). Pilate had said to Jesus 'Don't you know I have the power to either free you or to crucify you?' and Jesus replied, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above." Which for me speaks of knowing that our experiences (when we walk in alignment with the will of Source/Universe/Heavenly Father) are for our learning, and it liberates us to speak truthfully and act accordingly, knowing that the power is with Source and not with others. But if we go with fear, we bring upon us our own lack of personal power and integrity as we bend to the illusion that others have power over us and that is how we land ourselves in trouble, because we have believed (Neptune in Pisces) in the wrong Source of Power and purpose, and as women, the authorities then have more leverage to take advantage of us. As Jesus then says to Pilate, "Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin." And the one who hands the Son over to the authorities, is fear for one's own survival, which does not know that all things are provided for by the Heavenly Father and therefore we don't need to compromise our personal (sexual, spiritual, physical) integrity for our basic needs. It seems to me there are many teachings in this lunation and planetary transit you highlight Molly, and I can't thank you enough for expressing your own truth and insights and I hope the divine grace may shed more light of understanding so that we can grow in peace, integrity and love.

Cancer rising at 1 degree. I lost my mom in early early morning of 12/27/2015 and I remember that there was a massive full moon that night...I was just told 2 weeks ago that my father has liver cancer and needs a transplant. I'm an only child and have healed a lot of wounds. The thing that saddens me the most is that they both got sick because of their crappy habits aka way to numb out...I'll be 45 in February and I'm officially at the point where I know I need to make changes for my health and well-being and not fall into the same crap that they did. Time to put myself and health first, something those two couldn't do for themselves.

MERRY CHRISTMAS MOLLY! I'm a Cancer Sun. Today I had the best gifts!
