My career was shut down in 2016. I wasn't able to find an opportunity since then due to being stuck in Oklahoma. To this date, 9-14-23 there are no career opportunities here. Plus the fact that now that I'm 63, companies aren't hiring melanated intelligent women like myself. However, I'm banking on the opportunity that soon I'll be doing the hiring for my own company. So I look forward to this upcoming joyful opportunity. They may have decided to both my growth and opportunities, but unfortunately, they've only blocked their own chances 😅

Ouch I definitely over did it on my emotions in Jan and feb and am still reaping the negative feedback today. But it did make a change that I don’t regret, which was to stay away from more family gatherings. My son and I got really sick from thanksgiving and Xmas. I wasn’t actually mad at my family members showing up sick to these events, I was mad that I let it happen to us in general and that I had to deal with so many consequences of it. Looks like now I need to make a decision about my health and how my work relates to it, I understand and I hope to make the right choice. Also the the change to my environment in July, it sounds like it is relationally based and been a long time coming since 2018, which is when I started making moves to push long time friends away because they weren’t giving me the mental freedom I craved. I am tired of being confined to other’s ideas and feelings. Oh gosh the feelings… I still am in need of a more solid boundary between me and that environment, hopefully this will give me the push.

I've been in internal conflict for over 5 years. I learned about narcissist and I've been in deep pain ever since. I've been relearning everything taught to me and I'm starting to see things more clearly. I just can't believe what happened to me. I have terrible parents and i was abused very bad.. I'm almost insane
