Leave or make him leave; tolerance and martyrdom for abusive behavior is spiritual & emotional death. Abusers know their prey and will continue with predatory behavior.... The moment I found a former partner wasn't aligned with what we started out as, I told him to leave.... Posthaste! Slept like a newborn that VERY night. He’s literally wounded. He just was hospitalized for a aorta valve replacement at 64. He would text me 1 to 3 times a day for months but wouldn’t come see me. Works 6 1/2 days a week. Slim, tall and doesn’t need glasses. Lies of omission, I thought I knew him (8) years. I asked him to stop texting me if he didn’t want to come see me so he just ghosted me. He suddenly came by to tell me he’s having an operation.
