Thank you a million for putting Nacho's contact information in a previous video! I flew to Cancun on July 16th and my original flight was cancelled. We were able to get on a later flight, but my transport company bailed on us! I was completely freaking out until I remembered you talking about Nacho. I reached out to him, and Valentine was able to pick us up and take us to our resort. He was so kind! So thank you a million! I have already gave his info to another traveler headed that way in the next few weeks! So thank you a ton!

Thank you for the recommendation for the VIP lounge. I reserved it right after watching your video. Thank goodness for the reservation I made because we got in right away after all the people in line in front of us were turned away with a return time. We are sitting at a table in the VIP lounge right now and it even had a sign with my name on it the it was reserved just for us!!

We were 4 adults and 1 kid (8yrs) and it was $75 one way from the airport to Playa Del Carmen (plus we gave a $25 tip) and $70 for the ay back from Mayakoba Andaz or the Airport with Nacho

To kinda combat the issue of not knowing what gate my flight is going to be at, I track my inbound flight on the airlines own app, Flight Aware or Flight radar 24 and match up the outside gate to what it says what the arrival gate is going to be. The airport wants you to remain central by everything so you can spend a bigger amount of money there instead of save it. That’s also why they have you go through a Duty Free shop after security. Before I go to the airport from my all inclusive is I eat as much as I can the morning before my flight so I won’t be hungry in the airport and spend anywhere from $15-$20 for a 6 inch sub at Subway and a medium drink. I never could figure out why we need the E-ticket because no one really checked for it when I left a few months back.

Thank you for all this great information, Blanche! I have a question about the Plaza Premium Lounge. To get in free, one of the credit cards you show is the Capitol One Venture X card, which I have. Do I just show it to them, or do they run the card through a CC machine to charge me, and then reimburse me on the cc statement? Also wondering if all the food and drink in the lounge is free if I get in free with that card? Do they charge for anything once you are in the lounge? I guess that's more than one question, huh? I just travelled back yesterday July 19 /2023 with Sunwing Terminal 2. No one asked for VISITAX My ticket reflected 2 taxes for Cancun airport for 2 people 1) Airport user fee. $38.50 CAD 2) Rights of Migratory service $13.41 A traveler on the same flight with me at the resort paid it online following your video and was never asked for it at the airport.. I think it is a SCAM because there are so many websites collecting this tax

It says visitax is a Government application for the payment of CONTRIBUTIONS from foreign tourists, I would read CONTRIBUTIONS as volunteering to pay as gift and not mandatory . Just my take??

Yes def confusing! When we were at the kiosk at the airport he said it was mandatory and we would be fined but we still didn’t pay because I wasn’t convinced

I have paid it, also I have traveled to Cancun and did not pay it. I was frustrated the last time I went (about 1 yr ago) I paid it, NO ONE asked for the receipt/QR code I was given. I had convinced my entire group of 12 to pay. They were all looking at me! 😡😡😠😠I will be going back in 2 weeks and will not be paying it. If requested, I can do it at the airport kiosk.

Such an amazing video! We are flying first class American Airlines. Does Cancun checkin and or security have a priority line to go thru? Do they have their own club Lounge or just the airport vip lounge

Thank you so much. There is NOT a priority line. They do have a VIP service you can pay for but it’s crazy like $600. In terminal 3 the only lounge was the one we showed

I was in Cancun in March and I flew American Airlines with Business Class seating. Yes there is a Priority Check-in and you will see it about 4:12 mark of this video on the right side before she approaches the Visitax kiosk

I just came back from Cancun last week. What was your experience with immigration. I didn’t get stamped out of the country, which I found very strange. I got stamped on the way in but not on the way out. How do they know I left the country? My stamp has 180-days on it. Thank you!

What Terminal did you get dropped off at? We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street (around 1 minute mark in your video). Think we we departed out of Terminal 4 on the other side.

A regular credit card is always better. I don’t like to use anything attached to my bank account. Cash is excepted too depending on where you book etc.

I went to Cancun last April and we used the egates and I didn’t get my passport stamped but when it was time to leave they said I was supposed to get it stamped I had to go to immigration and then pay I think 40$ to get it stamped there.

Are there exit immigration checks? For instance if you drive across and forget the fmm. You have a departing international flight. Will this be problematic? Do they cause issues if you've never "officially" entered the country?

Hello. Quick question. We just arrived at Cancun airport. I was not able to go through the automatic gate so I had to talk with an official, who looked at my boarding pass, stamped my passport and wrote something in it. I didn’t get the same receipt that my wife received when she was scanned at the gate. Should I be concerned about not having that piece of paper when returning? Enjoy the videos - learned a lot and am staying at Excellent Playa Mujeres.

The Vista tax. If it’s for beaches, I got to say can’t see any results. Stay at the Hacienda and every year we go the beach is getting smaller. Anyone experienced this and are they planning on bringing in any sand?

Wifi that is publicly available is not secure, in other words do not do any financial transactions on public wifi. Generally wifi in hotel rooms is a better option, but again not for any financial transaction such as using a credit card, bank account, etc.

I flew out of the Cancun airport on July 12 2023 to Chicago and I stopped at the same Visitax kiosk and inquired about the fee and wast told by the young lady that yes it is a mandatory fee so I asked her if you are a Mexican citizen if you have to pay I have dual citizenship and she asked what passport I used to enter when I arrived I said the Mexican passport and she asked to look at the immigration stamp and confirmed that I did use that passport and told me I did not have to pay the visitax so my wife also has dual citizenship and didn’t have to also but my 2 teens had to pay and was charged $39.00 for the both of them I could of just bypassed the kiosk altogether and saved the fee 🤦‍♂️ smh !

If flying with Jetblue see your detail receipt its included in the price you paid for your flight it was bout $33 fee. Confirmed with Jetblue rep please do not pay this twice check your airline ticket receipt

I think I paid the Visitax through a scam website. I received an email about the payment but not a QR code. Do you know if they have started checking? And how can I get in touch with the gentleman you interviewed regarding this?

Are you sure that English version of the website from Google Map is real one? It is a Florida based company making it, it sells VisiTax, but not an official Mexico government website, specially it doesn't even have Departure & Arrival like a REAL airport website has, why so many scammers target tourists in & out of Cancun?
