My entire childhood my mom and grandma loved the Hallmark network. Especially enjoyed it at Christmas time with all the holiday movies but now my mom doesnt care for it because over the years they introduced more characters that didn't align with her beliefs... and that's okay! My mom and anyone else doesnt have to support their lifestyle... doesnt mean she wishes you any harm or out here committing hate crimes. Black people couldn't go to any college or churches or grocery stores. Because they would be lynched if they did. So black people built their colleges, stores, etc. So at 1 time, it was just only white stores, white churches, white banks, etc.

As a lesbian, the reason what Candace said is problematic causes more people to exclude lgbtq people. It is 2022, there is no reason for someone to base their religion on why you dislike a group of people. As a lesbian, who is she to exclude people. That is the equivalent of someone making a take that if you are x, y, or z race you shouldn't be on a television show or recieve the same opportunities. You could make the same argument, watch how many people will stand up and say how wrong that is. We are the minority of a group. It is important as a group that does not fully represent society, to stick up for ourselves and community. Justifying hatred for religion is such a low. And I am tired of people using religion to justify bias and people say it is ok. And teaching lgbtq people to be ok with people treating you as such is wrong.
