I learned this through personal experiences, I was having emotional problems after I found out my girlfriend was cheating on me, she didn't know I knew and after some time I couldn't control how upset it made me and I started trying to control who she hung out with and basically trying to keep her freedom to a minimum whenever possible. Eventually after several fights I broke up with her, I learned that controlling her was wrong and impossible and the only reason I was doing it was because of my emotional insecurities. Yes what she did was very wrong in my mind but it has become my opinion that a good man knows when to walk away from a situation like that and it is never okay to control and manipulate people.

No No it’s a great point. Honestly, democracy is the obvious goal, I’m not politician or someone that could make decisions for the entire country. However, in order to be a leader, you have to be able to deal with the ‘shit’ that comes with it. Hard decisions need to be made based on what is best for our country, not the fear of what public opinion might be. In this cancel culture the silent majority can’t lose their voice because they get crucified for going against the narrative media wants people to buy into. Nevertheless, this is why I believe in law and order, because it keeps us in check. I also live in germany and all I can say is that nothing of it is true. I also have lived in other countries. And it was ALWAYS worse by a large scale. Socialized health care in germany works extremly well. If you avg out the care EVERY german citizen receives, it is better than in most other countries in the world.

Tell me about it! At my high school we were reading a book about police brutality and I was debating almost the whole class and they got angry when I showed the stats. The next day, my teacher calls home and says I was making racist comments. I am in Canada btw, here it is WAY more left then the USA.

i think the problem is that a lot of people go into a debate to “own” the other person (like the first guy) rather than have a constructive conversation. people get angry when they don’t “win.” it’s really sad. i personally like watching things from both sides to gather more information rather than worrying about winning something.
