One thing I’ve never figured out, they always say “We hired this person to do such n such..” Well after telling them it was a joke, you’re on CC do they immediately say “Oh we don’t need you, you’re fired, go find another job.”

That's a good question. Actually, we try to avoid "hiring" people whenever possible, but sometimes we have no choice. They are temporary day-workers. They are paid for the full day, even if they were only "working" for an hour or so. Thanks for asking. -Peter Funt

My favorite Candid Camera prank involved a lady that needed her flat tire changed. She would ask random men to change the tire. While the men are changing the tire, a guy pops his head out the back window saying to be quiet because he is trying to sleep. I don't think that it has been uploaded here.

I've watched quite a few of these clips of the 1990's Candid Camera and I must say. I checked in the imdB and it stated it only lasted a couple years on TV. And I'm really surprised because the clips that I've seen were very creative and super funny!!!!!

That's not correct. We only use temp workers in these situations. They're not looking for a real; job, they're looking for a day's pay - which we give them, even though we only use a few minutes of their time. -Peter
