Hello Jade, I read the original version in 2016 as well as in 2011 in my high school degree study. I still remember Pangloss, Cunégonde, and mr the baron of Thunder-ten-tronckh 😅

It does sound somewhat similar to 'keep the aspidistra flying' by George Orwell at least with regards to ways in which people live. 👍😎

please tell us how you continue to give up foods with gluten and how it actually helps you....or maybe you have changed your opinion?

I had this one in a dual language edition, French on one page English on the other. It’s a great way to learn.

thank you for sharing your opinion! "Be busy. This is the best medicine and one of the most effective." I think this quote fits to the end of this book. I think that any activity makes a person pleased with himself, and acting in accordance with his talent is happiness!
