@Zulma91 you noticed him too!@@calebswrld714 so that's why I always seem to see him at award shows especially BET shows getting all hyped in the crowd. First time I saw him at a BET show I was like isn't that dude from the Jackson 5 performance? After about the 3rd time I figured he was just an old school mega fan who tried to come to all the shows 😄

My absolute favorite part of the show. To see Katherine looking at her boys all together so lovingly...just beautiful. I remember being in high school and watching it on TV. I wanted to go so badly to this concert in NYC but my mom was not having me and my friend go alone to NYC at 17 years old. *Sighs* But hey, I guess it wasn't meant to happen since September 11th occurred unfortunately.

My favorite Jacksons song of all time! True classic! Randy bossed this, setup the play for MJ, I love this song, Can You Feel It is the truth. The MILLISECOND at 1:45 where MJ's voice cuts through gives me goosebumps EVERY time.

I wanted more of this great song. Still, it's great seeing The Jacksons performing this live after so many years. RIP MJ.

This song makes me cry too. It brings emotions because it was just so full of positive energy and here i am in 2021 the new year wishing our world was full of more people that thought like this. The world needs to unite....especially the United States....it’s so divided right now and it makes me cry because i know we all have the capacity to share this kind of love and i want it to happen so badly .....but i am still waiting. I miss Michael Jackson but he does live on.

Many people forgot that this concert took place at Madison Square Garden the Sunday before Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The family got stuck in New York when all flights were grounded. Several people in this audience died on 9/11. CBS was slated to televise the concert that week but put it off until a few months later in mid-November. It was an awesome concert, but those memories put a cloud over the memories...

0:07 "Please welcome Michael Jackson and the Jacksons!" Michael IS a member of the Jacksons, the best one by far but was a member of them! So it would have been more polite for her to have said: "please welcome the Jacksons!"

I agree, but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if this was intended (maybe even Michael's idea to say it like that)

mitomino A bit of trivia... The reason Elizabeth did the intro like that was bc this was Michael’s show marking the 30th anniversary of releasing his 1st solo record & his brothers just performed a couple of songs with him as guest stars, along with some other stars too. It was made from 2 concerts he did @ Madison Square Garden with the last being the night before the World Trade Center was attacked. 😎

They all look awesome. I remember watching this live. Imo, if MJ didn't have vitiligo here he'd look the same as the Thriller Era.
