I've always hated this sentiment until the last few years, 90s and 00s were just different. Such heavy topics in a way we can understand. Can't even talk about this shit without trigger warnings let along sing about losing a close friend to drugs....

I just found out my best friend from Junior high and high school died in November. She was 42 just like me. I've been feeling suicidal lately and I dreamt about her last night. I dreamt that we hadn't seen each other in so long and we just embraced. We couldn't let go. I woke up and Googled her name and now I'm so fucking heartbroken.

I hope that you will reach out to people who love you or strangers for comfort. I have always had suicidal ideation and when i found out someone i cared deeply for took his own life in November it was a sucker punch to everyone who knew him. When you're in the depths of despair it's hard to believe the devastation that will be left behind for others to carry. Condolences on the loss of your friend💔

Saw Candlebox live at Summerfest in Milwaukee September 2021. I’ve seen more live concerts than believable and sincerely, the lead singer sang “Far Behind” and it was arguably the best live vocal performance I’ve ever seen. Guitarist absolutely shredded the solo too, and the singer’s high notes and screams were bar none A1 INCREDIBLE. Hats off, don’t think I can think of many others who can still do it this well. Stupendous performance fellas!

In the mid 90’s there was a night club in downtown Tampa called Hammerjacks. The DJ would always end the night with this song. Brings back great memories.

I lost my baby brother in 2002 from oxy 80 and fentynal both prescribed.😢We had gotten in a fight and he went to Florida......We.never made up from it before he passed...I'm so sorry Johnny.....I miss you so much and I so wish to hug you...This song reminds me of him...❤ya candlebox
