Make a line between the wicks to form parallelogram or rhombus. A trapezoid is either inside or outside bar. Rhombus or parallelogram is up or down bars. Think of them as shapes then the brain will remember it better and eyes go to the shapes not the size for quick determination.

Great great video sir! I just want to ask how can this be used as an entry signal. I've tried trading using this type of candle reading, but e.g. when theres 3 consecutive up bars, and when I decided to enter it, it goes the opposite. Note: the chart is also on uptrend

Great video! One question tho: You said that outside bars usually mean that the current trend is continued. Doesn't that contradict the idea of bullish and bearish engulfing patterns as indicators of trend reversals?

I was doing some research on the last days about this candle stick approach, but can't find much information... even it's easy to read and not on my graphs the 4 types of candles and swings, it would be even easier and could also incorporate in a alert script if it would be possible for a candlestick pattern recognition to identify them. Besides TOS I also use Barchart and others... Would you know another name of the Pattern Recognition or a program that can identity them? Thanks a million $$$, keep you the great work!

Quick question, when reading the bars. Are you just looking at the candle it self or also looking at the wick/ shadow? To determine if it’s an ub, db, ib, ob...?

What about a gap in terms of a swing high or swing low? Example there is a gap between the previous close and current open and there is a lot of momentum as defined in a large body of current bar (bar with a gap) and it makes a new swing pivot point is this a swing point?

This can be used for analysis of a trend retrospectively. But what guidance do we get about how the market is going to move? There's no way to know when an upswing will be broken by an outside bar or a down bar will be formed tomorrow despite an upswing today. So how to use this effectively? Please guide.

I stay away from words like "predicting". I prefer to think in terms of probabilities. The reality is that you cannot really tell what candle will happen next, it's impossible.
