Although I loved the wreath making, the trip down memory lane was priceless! I am 66 and remember that the first year I taught school (71) we were required to wear hose and dresses. I live in SE Texas, and the school was not air conditioned. You can have "the good old days".

It's a wonderful talent to be able to put colors together that seem to clash with one another but turn out in the end to be something of greatness and beauty. Even though this was a Christmas video I pray you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving. I will be spending Thanksgiving and Christmas year after year without the most important person in my life. I lost my sweet precious 4 yr old grandson to a drunk driver on June 6th, 2014. He was and remains the absolute light of my life and I miss him more than mere human words can explain. I loved this. It's the first video of yours I've seen. Great job! My mom had to wear the cap, white hose and white nurse uniform. When I was in nursing school, I graduated in '84, we also had to wear white hose and a white uniform but it had blue stripes, one going down each side. It was kind of like an apron. We either had wear our caps or we got them at graduation. I never had to wear one while working. I do still have it packed away somewhere. My sister also was a nurse so we had one of those trio-frames with each of our nursing graduation pictures in it. We all went to a Mercy School of Nursing in Michigan, too. Thanks for reminding me!!

It's very nice. I have that deco mesh but used it in a small wreath. I would never have thought of using it on a candy cane, but I really like what you've done with it! I'll be making one for my own door I think. Last year I went very formal, this year I just may go whimsical. Thanks Jeannie!
