This show is very special, because we get to see the beautiful Candy Dulfer jam next to the legend Maceo Parker.
Shot-lived TV show that aired in the Netherlands. Some small parts are in dutch, if someone can translate it, send me the subtitles. Sorry for the quality of the video, but I can't seem to find a better source.

Wonderful interview. Got to see and hear a genuine person in Maceo. One cool dude. Love his music and his playing. But I'm also a big fan of Ms. Candy Dulfer.

Candy is amazing. So real, so talented, so beautiful. What a great meeting with Maceo, who is truly a living legend. If you ever needed evidence of Candy's status in the world of music, think "Van Morrison." He holds her in special regard, and Van does not tolerate mediocrity.

Let me tell you folks, this is one classy, sweet, kind, generous and beautiful lady. I was watching Miss Dulfer's, "Pick Up the Pieces" video. I was blown away. I really enjoyed it. So I sent Miss Dulfer a little e-mail of how much I enjoyed it, and if she was coming to Texas? Do you know, she answered me in less than 3 days. That was awesome. ik noemde dat in de jaren 60/70 een yaketysax , niet oneerbiedig bedoeld hoor, dat gaat al ver terug1960 vrij naar Yakety Yak The Coasters die de opname maakten in 1958 met niemand minder dan King Curtis, in begin jaren 60 deedBooths Randolph het nog eens dunnetjes over met Yakety sax

does anyone mind that i think Prince don't belong in that list, a terrible singer an average guitar player, a mediocre composer he dreamed of funk but he never reached it a poser i think is the best word to describe him, a pop start at best. And candy you're now other, younger peoples hero , you learned from the best; Hans King Curtis Maceo Parker, and all great jazz musicians in the world, now you're the best

You're certainly entitled to your opinion but though not particularly a Prince fan he was undoubtedly a very talented musician and I don't think Maceo Parker would have called him a genius otherwise.

I was never a Prince fan. I knew thats he was an ingenious showman, but that was it until I watched a video of him doing a cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with a boatload of other superstar guitarists. If you Google it, I think you will agree that he belongs in that group.

Don Miata - . It's fine if a particular artist does not resonate with you. We like what we like but what I find to be true with artist/ performers, entertainers, actors etc..., is what we see or what they show us is rarely the full scope or depth of their talent. I'd be blown away that an actor on a crapy sitcom or sifi program can dance and or have a beautiful singing voice or may have been a powerful stage actor or musician.

Haha this must be click bait and you got me... Prince a terrible singer and average guitar player haha. You may not like his voice but he sure has a great voice. And is considered one of the best guitar players in the world, often in the top 10 of whatever list. Thanks.
