I should probably point out that I've never seen the musical, and I didn't mean to assign specific roles in it to specific characters. The animatic is only based on the lyrics of the song, it's all in good fun :)

I am screaming. I can’t draw Janus’s hook without it looking like a misshapen stick, but you pulled off the hook! Not to mention the fact that Janus is a drama queen with Remus in the picture. Virgil is clearly unhappy with those two, but they don’t seem to care. Everything about this is absolutely perfect!!! Keep doing what makes you happy! :)

I have to be honest, I went in to draw the hook absolutely unprepared and completely expecting it to look like a mess. Even I am surprised at how it turned out! And well, we're talking about Janus "thank you for ruining my dramatic introduction" Sanders so, this is the least we cam expect from him 🤣🤣

This is amazing! The “say goodbye to Shamu” animation was like really good and I liked the plot I saw in the video. Your art is really good and so is your storytelling!

Ha! The beginning was fun But I do have to say the expressions and movements were very in character and full of life. This whole animatic was so full of life it was really great to watch Also the virgil puppet and Remus' and Janus' highly chaotic presence and their candy weapons were all really cool little details. Kudos to u!👍

Janus is so dramatic I love him Also I love the actual candy staff and morning star At 1:20 Janus is just has to take a deep breath and it’s hilarious I love that “kicking nerds in the nose” is actually just Remus throwing the ninja star at Logan I absolutely adored the shot of Janus’ arms coming out I love the angle and the point it comes at in the song it’s really perfect!!! Also, it’s a snake!!! (However I did not like the angst of them pulling him away from Patton that was not very cash money of you)

I love this so much! So smooth! I love they're dynamic and Virgil having no fun at all. "Kicking nerds in the nose" -remus throws a ninja star to Logan's head- perfect in every way (I thing I thought about it once but not really idk probably forgot). I love that you let them share all the lines and didn't stuck Janus to Regina's voice and all that and let Remus take the chaotic lines as he should. When Janus came become a candy cane I went "holy shit!" And then Remus with the lollipop I was wow and then he took a bit and I was like "heathen!" so you know did it right lol (Sorry for this, English is not my first language and I'm kinda tired)

Remus's weapon was supposed to turn into a candy apple ('causez you know, forbidden fruit and all) and that's why he bites it, but people interpreting it as a lollipop makes it even better. Only Remus would bite a lollipop like that 😂😂 (No worries, English isn't my first language either 😉)

2:36 I noticed that Remus’s lollipop kinda looks like an apple that is upside down and it’s a tribute to his song forbidden fruit. Idk if that was intentional or not but if it was then great job. If it wasn’t intentional then that’s an amazing coincidence

I love that Janus stole Patton's credit card for the "maxing dad's credit card" line, that was so perfect! And Remus with the throwing star attacking Logan as the nerd line. Brilliant! I also loved the exasperated expression on Janus' face when Remus says "Let's go tear up someone's lawn!" and Remus falling at Janus' feet. They're so extra. Amazing work. I think it's my favorite I've seen for this song!

This video was so enjoyable, you can see all the effort it such clean lineart and colours, and the poses are the most beautiful thing I have ever scene, you have a great understanding of how things look with different transitions and angles which is so powerful and effective. I love Janus in this. I'm pretty sure any part of Thomas is truly a lovable dork deep down (like how Janus canonically loves Scooby Doo) but being the personification of deception he pretends he's not.
