World champion boxer Saúl “Canelo” Alvarez praises his parents for raising eight children despite limited income and the strong work ethic he learned from his father. Canelo talks of going to work at an extremely young age, selling popsicles on buses and the benefits of his humble upbringing as he became a father at age 17.

Me and my sister and brother were talking about this a couple days ago. That females are starting to try and do everything a man try's to do and it's completely fine for them to have a job and be independent. The thing is this world wouldn't survive without masculinity and without feminine energy. some woman have it wrong saying" I don't need a man" which is fine if they want to be independent but saying they don't need our energy they are basically devaluing us as men and what we do for the world, our kids, family's and more. Like you said she said she never needed a man and it effected you in some type of way because somewhere deep inside your soul you know you wanted and needed that bond with your father I feel the same way brother a child needs both parents.

I’m always get disappointed by the translation that most tv interviews give because some words always get twisted and looks like a lazy ass did them but every word is on point in here RESPECT! Appreciate the hard work!

I love Canelo, im from Liverpool UK and i have irish blood and family and he looks more irish than me or my family there! I watch a documentary that said irish immigrants in the usa back in the day got sick of the way they were treated (possibly in the military, i cant remember) so moved up to mexico who offered better pay and conditions etc and that explains why theyres pale red haired mexicans! My gf is mexican and her brother is pale with red hai looks more irish than me! All the best everyone x

Yeah, growing up I had no idea about brand shoes or clothes, nice toys or anything like that but my parents made sure I never skipped a meal and had a roof over my head. I never felt poor.

@@Cornelius87 can definitely relate with this I remember eating only beans and rice. Not much meats or chicken due to not having enough money. But I never felt like I was poor until I moved to the states and realized how poor we were 😂
