Canelo seems like a great sparring partner. Clean and ethical. I watch some of these guys in sparring and they just seem like bullies and assholes. (ie Tank and Haney.)

he goes hard on the bigger guys but even with guys like his size he tends to go easy which is really respectable

I think with some other boxers aswell that their sparring partners are complete doormats and are basically punching bags for the pro. But Canelos partners actually fight back and are clearly skilled boxers in their own right

It's always exquisite to watch an elite boxer spar, it just is!!! Their unique punching style and elegance! Be it Mike Tyson, Canelo, Ra Leonard, Pacquiao, Inoue, Tank, Rigondeaux, etc etc, they are art in movement!

Canelo sparred way too hard and took too much damage; especially @0:51 and @1:08. Most of his partners are not on his level, but a hard punch is a hard punch. It doesn't matter who throws it.
