It's great to watch two superb fighters in the ring together. Both guys have class and respect for each other as well. I'm sure there wasn't all the pre-fight bs that goes on with so many modern boxers. This was real top notch boxing.

А знаешь почему Ковалев вялый , а Канелло бодрый ? Потому что Кови поставили жесткие условия в плане веса , он должен был согнать кучу веса перед взвешиванием и при этом в день боя его вес не должен был превышать на 4 кг вес при взвешивании , а Рыжий все это время кушал от пуза чтобы войти в весовую категорию . Еще много всяких подлянок было по условиям боя со стороны штаба Канело , перчатки , гонорар и прочее . В общем , те еще ублюдки .

Канелло бил каждый удар вкладываясь и хотел вырубить. Сергей же гладил и намечал как в спарринге с лучшим другом. Меня всегда удивляет, почему многие крутые боксёры в зале лупят так что мешки рвутся а в бою на намечают ни разу не ударив. Бил бы как в зале может быть и вырубил бы канелло в первой половине, а так словил проигрывая по очкам.

Ковалев всегда был дутым чемпионом , как витязь поветкин , десантник лебедев , кувалда кудряшов , и еще много много разных....был еще валуев дытына , который на автостоянке старика сторожа отпиздил., старик в больницу попал. Сейчас умер уже наверно...

Canelo always delivers great fights. Look at this one with Kovalev: landing plenty powershots, wearing his older opponent down... great body punching... Canelo was caught with some clean shot and could improve his defense, but it's a great bout nevertheless

He didn't say he took a dive, he said the opposite claiming he was outboxing Canelo until he got tired and got caught when in reality Canelo was the one landing the cleaner shots throughout and broke him down punch by punch while setting him up for the KO with a masterfully executed sequence. Anyway, Kovalev tried to make excuses that he wasn't at 100% when Canelo had offered to fight him prior in place of Yarde but it was KOVALEV WHO DECLINED so it was put off until afterward. And for the record, it was DAZN not Canelo that selected the fight date because they wanted a month buffer between that fight and Ruiz-Joshua II the following month. The situation wasn't even ideal from Canelo's end because until Kovalev secured the win over Yarde it remained uncertain whether Canelo would in fact face Kovalev at 175 or stay at 160, so not much time for such a huge leap in weight against a KO punching light heavyweight. The excuses haters come up with is ridiculous when no one forced Kovalev to sign and if he didn't feel ready he could have passed or put it off like he had already done before knowing it's a fight Canelo wanted, but he said at the time that he felt in great shape and ready. He's just a sore loser making excuses after the fact when there are no excuses when you're a KO punching career light heavyweight champ getting clotheslined by the smaller but superior fighter jumping up multiple divisions.

Добавлю ещё вот, что! Ходят слухи, что Канэлло нечестно, непоправилам бьётся. Например он бьётся под наркотиками и более того в боксёрский перчатках наверное есть косталомы или смягчающих материалов нет. Канэлло ставленник мафии. Бьётся он нечестно!

Talvez se essa luta tivesse sido realizada qdo o Kovalev tivesse lá pelos 28 anos o resultado não fosse esse aí... o boxe, ou quem organiza o esporte, costuma não colocar os bons lutadores "na vitrine", pelo contrário, esconde esses caras. Daí qdo o cara já está "velho" eles põem pra lutar com esses lutadores mais jovem para promovê-los... isso é recorrente nessa modalidade esportiva.

What a farce. One of the biggest fixed fights in boxing. Kovalev had the hardest most feared jab and then suddenly he had no mustard on his shots? He was using less power than if you were sparring with your grandad. Even a 20% Kovalev had Canelo red faced and flustered during the fight. Kovalev put out a video later on YT saying he took the fight but he "wasn't allowed to win" They basically bought the LHW belt for a $6M purse all for Canelo "greatness" He also said he'd have a rematch with Canelo FOR FREE to put the record straight. No wonder he wont have a rematch with Bivol, light heavy weights have given him PTSD.
