He was humble prior to the fight. He never said anything bad Canelo and showed him the utmost respect. This was even talked about before the fight and he mentioned that he had no bad blood against Canelo and he's one if the greats.

This is one of those nice results of high caliber boxing bouts which shows that no physical injuries must be inflicted on any or both fighters to achieve a convincing outcome at the end of the bout. The one who lost does not show any ill feeling towards the winner, and that is real sportsmanship in action.

I didn't think jermell wud last 12 rounds didn't think he'd get up from the knockdown even an I was impressed with how he handled himself an with wat he said after the fight he wasn't on no excuses BS an comin up with reasons why he lost just like how canelo took his 2 losses on the chin.

Canelo’s head movement was there the reason it wasnt as obvious was because Charlo simply didn’t throw enough to make him use it often.

Charlo recovered well from the knockdown but didn't get those combinations off like I hoped he would. His left hook is a decent weapon. The body assault and weight jump aside, he could and should have done more. More aggressive, as he admits. What Floyd was saying about taking care of yourself in the ring and being in a condition to really enjoy the fruits of your labour after hanging up the gloves… I like watching wars but that advice resonates with me. I respect that.

I like Canelo and was rooting for him. But, is it me, or did he look the same? He fought that same fight with Bivol. The only difference was that Bivol kept pushing him back. He throws the same big and loaded body shots. He didn't look like he was better. Charlo needed to respect Canelo less in the ring and try his best to keep Canelo on his back foot. If Canelo can keep moving forward, it will be a long night.
