Disappointed in Canelo to say he thought he never lost the fight, and then started to blame the difference in weight. he was th eone who picked this fight because he thought he could win. He didn't mention weight difference the last time he moved up, because hew won the last time. He lost it by a bigger margin than the judges awarded and everyone knows it. I thought he would have shown more class than that. Bivol, on the contrary, what a likeable and humble man he is. He showed class in and out of the ring.

The judges need to be investigated. Holy shit, how many times do we have to see these people try to ruin boxing. Even casual fans could see the beat down that Bivol administered to Canelo and the judges all score it the same with the first 4 going to Canelo. It is bad for boxing.

The sad part about this this is that many aren't surprised that Bivol beat Canelo, what is very surprising is that he won.

I saw this guy years ago and could tell he was the real deal, but he is so cute and sweet...he is making me cry :( He has 180degree opposite personality of what most big time boxers have with all the bravado, confidence and boasting...he is basically avoiding attaching any praise or status to himself that he doesn't think he has justified by results.

The only person who really believes he didn't lose the fight is Canelo himself. I don't consider myself an expert, even though I've been an avid boxing fan for all of 57yrs. I am, as most are a great followerand fan of Canelo and I've admired him since I first saw him back as a young 15yr old. Last night he was outclassed and outfought throughout the fight and I have to be honest, whatever he tried just did not work. I really find it difficult to fairly give Canelo two rounds and just maybe three. This was an absolutely amazing performance by Bivol. What an amazing fighter and respectful human being this lad is. Two great sportsmen and how Canelo can come out with that well used addage by a beaten fighter saddens me a little, because I'm sure he would have been told by his trainers what was needed going into that last round, if the Judges had been honest. There again, if we talk about judges. This is a subject that needs to be attacked and dealt with in the game in general. At the top, or the bottom these athletes put their lives on the line out there and too often today judges leave themselves open to critisism and ruin fighters careers with questionable scoring! GREAT FIGHT!
