Terry Jackson You're wrong. Jacobs exchanged with GGG plenty of times, thats HOW that fight became close. The reason pure in-fighters are so dominant in many of there performances is because they can catch mid-range boxers and out-exchange other in-fighters. But Golovkin is not a pure in-fighter. Pure in-fighters dig their heads onto their opponents and throw short uppercuts and hooks while constantly moving or ducking their heads. GGG doesnt do any of that. He goes fowards and cuts the ring off like and in-fighter, but he always needs to maintain certain distance to be able to connect one of his WIDE hooks accurately, any closer and his arms will be hanging out. And instead of moving or ducking his head he just steps back. Trust me when I tell you, infighting is GGG's weakness. Every boxer that he's had an easy time dealing with besides Canelo has either been a mid-ranger or an outboxer.

cesar aleman ggg doesn't like to punch with people. Watch the Jacobs fight , the Brook fight, and Canelo fight. GGG was getting hit with everything and never landed more than 2 clean counters. Never went to Canelo's body and was missing all his right hands so he just resorted to landing a million jabs that had no real power behind them. Nothing more than looking busy jabs which is obvious by ggg's face after the fight while Canelo face looked normal. It's a reason why ggg never went to 168 to face WARD. Power and solid skills is what wins him fights. When up against B level or Elite fighters he never gets the knock out. So at 168 , Ward would have went to the body HEAVY, got on the inside (ggg can only fight coming forward and at mid range with no trading) roughed him up and beat him silly.
