I remember Ryder sayin that Canelo didn't 'hit that hard', post interview. He hit hard enough to make crooked little Ryder take a fall vs Munguia, and retire. At least two knockdowns Ryder didn't get touched by a glove from Munguia, Canelo made a different man outta him. I wouldn't trust one word from Ryder, he's a liar & cheater. It's all on video John, wouldn't that make it a fact?

There are a lot of people who believe Crawford can best Canelo. Mainly deluded yanks might I add. At 160 he has a slim chance, at 168 he has virtually no chance against Canelo.

They are same height and Crawford actaully has advantage with longer reach. Even tho canelo fights up to 175 he is natural 160 and even there he is a bit small. At 168 he is slower and he is getting old and is not that agil as he usted to be. With that being said Crawford has real chance to win on points with Floyd type of strategy. Canelo would proly win tho.

There have been MUCH worse fighters who somehow managed to win world titles. I can think of several. John Ryder was unfortunate enough to face an all-time great in Canelo; and a budding superstar in Jaime Munguia. Nothing to be ashamed of. He's gettig out at the right time. No need for him to be a stepping stone.

@@camposvazquez canelo won every round against a guy who wasn’t the better boxer . But he couldn’t ko a guy who is 2 weight classes lower and had a hand injury so canelo won on skills alone. Now put Crawford in that position who is better all around he will definitely need a ko to win because how is he going to win rounds against someone with a longer reach and a better boxer all around ? Crawford is a dominant fighter at 147...but anybody who thinks Alvarez has faded so much that cant land consistently on Crawford...is biased beyond reality. Crawford is a dawg..he lives in the pocket...he gets hit and hurt..but his skill and firepower get him out of losing fights as often as not. Against Alvarez Crawfords power advantage is gone ..in no small part due to Alvrez's chin and defensive skills

I would install Canelo as a 2-or-3 to 1 favorite over Jaime Munguia if they signed for the fight...but no more than that. Munguia has a great chin, A/A- power, and is six years younger than Canelo. A Munguia win would not surprise me.

Couldn't tell how much he has left just based on his last fight, because Jermell Charlo shamelessly ran all night. Jaime Munguia will not run. This is a real test for Canelo, regardless of what anyone says.

“Doesn’t make sense?” Let’s review… they’re about the same height, Crawford has a longer reach, I seriously doubt Alvarez is stronger than Crawford, Crawford is faster, both hands and feet, nobody’s “ring generalship” is superior to Crawford’s, they both have power. It’d be a great fight, if Alvarez were to win he’d have beaten the best “Boxer” on the planet, if Crawford were to win he’d be a three division undisputed champ, both scenarios would be great for Boxing!
