For me as a drummer it sounds a bit sloppy at first. But way to consistent if he would not do it on purpose. So i think it‘s just a way to play it more creative. …and i fcking love it! Btw. You can hear simmular sloppyness on the first Sodom records with Chris Witchhunter on drums. I beleve this is real sloppyness. (due to left handed player on right handed kit) But still love his fluent style of playing!

I'm the first that loves tight playing and technically sound players, but everything doesn't have to be metronomically perfect all the time. Not saying that you have to be a sloppy mess, far from it, but it's nice to hear organic playing with little imperfections here and there giving more character to the music. Everyone can blast and double kick tightly to high bpms these days, but not sounding boring and like a robot is becoming harder also.
