I consider myself to be a very devout Christian, yet I think a faith is a pathetic excuse to stop a band performing. One's belief should *NEVER* get in the way of one's taste in music. As I say, I am a practicing Christian yet Cannibal Corpse are one of my favourite metal bands. I use my Christian faith to be good and kind towards others and would never go around preaching it in the wrong way to anybody at all. I love Cannibal Corpse because they kick ass. Simple. If people are really that offended by the music, don't go to the gig and don't listen to the band. Straightforward enough.

I understand protests against Deicide,Behemoth,Belphegor and similar because satanic lyrics and bashing christianity but Cannibal Corpse? Just brutal death metal, nothing to do with religion, it's like really gore slasher horror movie..

Мерзкие фанатики. Православные-фашисты. С чего бы это они должны решать кому что слушать? Что за идиотизм путать религию и творчество. Сам ношу крестик, но при этом каннибалы одна из любимых команд. Считаю это абсолютно нормальным. А вот православные-фанатики точно сгорят в аду. Ах, хотя, да, юродивых милуют обычно. Вместо мозгов - дерьмо. И самое обидное то, что ничего с этим не поделать. А будет только хуже. (( Кто бы еще знал, как в нашем государстве с ними бороться, законными методами? Судя по всему, никак. (

this is ridiculous. as somebody who loves cannibal corpse, i think who cares about all this religious shit. i really dont get all this controversy over cannibal corpse. they're just a band. yes a pretty violent band, but sill an awesome one. most other metal bands dont get treated like this, so why do we get all religious over cannibal corpse. i think its outrageous. just let them perform and share their music for the world long live cannibal corpse \m/

I find the Video Kind of confusing as to who's who and what's what.Obviously I recognise the guys from CC.It all depends I suppose how seriously you take their lyrics.I read some of them briefly and find them to be stomach-churningly mind-twistingly monstrous.The band themselves say it's just art,that it's needed to "compliment" the brutal Death Metal,and they don't seriously mean a word of it.When interviewed they seem like genuinely nice sensible approachable dudes.So I don't know how to comment.But any Christian who attacks CHRISTIAN metal is way out of line and those Christians who do that I really despise for being so misguided.And there's plenty of Christian extreme metal.I so hope the guys in CC come to know Christ as Lord and Saviour and choose to glorify Him with their incredible Talent,instead of all this violence-for-the sake-of-it and sexual Perversion b.s.

Yeah, and those christian metal bands were inspired by black Sabbath, deep purple, judas priest, iron maiden. There just lyrics, and cannibal corpse just has gross lyrics. They're words, don't take it to heart. Look at all the horror movies and books. Cannibal corpse is exactly what that is except It's music. Kick ass music. it's all a gimmick and an act. Its art.
