The heaviest song of all time, in my opinion. The slow, brooding riff coupled with the intense subject matter... Just menacing & dark. Long live CC!

@@frankgallagur2045 heavy is objective, some say slow chugging deep is heavier than fast tech riffs, like, i love Origin and Nile, my fave tech death bands, BUT Crowbar is "heavier" imo

The maturation of Corpse came about because of Pat O'Brian, who is unfortunately no longer with Corpse...that man made ok for Corpse to be heavy as shit, but, isn't isn't necessarily a 40 minute blast beat. (See also: Evisceration Plague album) Thanks guys!!

What's up guys! Pretty sure i remember CorpseGrinder saying during the making of this album that this song is about something in World of Warcraft. He's an avid player i know. Even has the Horde tat on a forearm. It's always stood out to me because it's red.

Corpsegrinder took over vocals back in late 95’. But his first full album was Vile (96’). This album was from 2012. They only get better.

Probably not the first to tell you this but I've yet to meet a metalhead that didn't like Cannibal Corpse - Festering in the Crypt. It's Corpsegrinder, it's slower but it's so gooood
