I knew going into this record that Rutan was going to bring a massive influence and freshness to the band, and boy was I right. You can usually expect greatness from the boys in Cannibal, but they still blew me away and really outdid themselves. 30 plus years later and they still sound as tight, brutal and better then ever. Hail to the kings!

It makes sense: if they keep at their instruments, then they can only get better. There have been a few personnel changes over the years though. Have you ever listened to Blotted Science? There are only two albums, but Alex Webster played on both. Most people aren't aware of how technical he actually is.

I am SO impressed by what these guys can still do after 15 albums and I'd be willing to bet that their live performances whenever that happens again, will take full advantage of the absolute insanity this record has to offer. Its mostly because the mix of three factors that they manage to keep their music fresh: 1. Since the beggining they had the fortune to find a formula that works magnificently for Death Metal. Thing that unfortunately many other bands struggle to find. 2. The constant guitarist changes every certain amount of years for some other really good ones due to whatever reason, allows the band to be Dynamic and play different type of riffs while keeping the formula, so it keeps the music loyal to the roots and fresh but also different. 3. The powerful productions the Apply and dedication of the members to not loose inspiration and technique ( specially Corpsegrinder as vocalist) helps to feel the Heavyness and the Punishing sound of the music, allowing it to never feels tired or Burnout.
