For some reason, my Bakeneko's FR4 plate is hella tight and I really had to force every single switch in. There was no way to just put a few in first like you and then one by one place the switches in since the plate would just bow instead of letting the switches snap in fully. I also saw some other reviewers that got early samples mention that the plate might be kind of loose. I wonder if they took that feedback and then over adjusted for the production units, or if my plate is just an isolated issue. I ended up putting in almost the middle 3 rows entirely into the plate (and after checking that all the pins were straight) before installing the PCB. Only that way was there enough of an existing support to keep the FR4 plate propped up enough for me to install the rest of the switches. It really made the building process less enjoyable and annoying, but the end result is still a really nice sounding board with lubed H1 switches.

Alex you have singlehandedly been the influencer of the majority of all my keyboards. from Titan65, Salvation and now the Bakaneko. Love your work man.

Got me one with the 30a oring unlike the stock 50a oring it is more bouncy and idk why but it even further improves the sound as its a bit softer which is nice af lol

On the Cannon Keys site it says that the lavenders come factory lubed. Has that been an issue for anyone? I'd like to lube them myself with Krytox 205g0 + film, but if they come factory lubed should I be extra careful as to not over-lube?
