Sho Kosugi, was my favorite Ninja a kid, and one of my favorite movies in long list of movies was "Pray for Death"!

Great vid. Ninja 3 the Domination is a Masterpiece 10/10. I love that movie so much. It's the first one I saw in the series. Sho Kosugi became my ultimate hero as a kid and Dickey was forever my dream girl. Such a cool f'n movie. I always dreamed of finding a cool cave with Ninja weapons. I love that movie so much.

Sho kasugi is so underrated the man is a legend so glad that he’s made a slight comeback with tiny ninja boom in the early 20 teens and is recognized for his amazing stunt work and choreography

Revenge of the Ninja was filmed in my home town, Salt Lake City. My sister was friends with the guys that fought Sho on the playground and she met him as well. My science teacher was a rock climber and he was the one who climbed the outside of the building, standing in for Sho. Revenge is still one of my favorite movies and I still have the shuriken I bought after I saw the movie as a kid. Most importantly, I wouldn't be the martial artist I am today without Sho Kosugi.

Haha! When I would spend the weekend at my grandpa’s place when I was a little kid, these were rented from the local video store and waiting for me when I got there. Man, the 80s was such an oddly amazing time to be a kid. Thanks for the awesome nostalgia trip!

I love the ninja movies when I was a teenager , I can honestly say I haven't seen them since the 90s. I did enjoy ninja assassin from a few years back my only gripe with it was the frantic quickshot camera work. No shame when it comes to DOA I watched it twice last week I love that film it's really good fun and Holly Valance is in it 😁

Ninja 3 is my favorite B movie ever..

These movies were a much-cherished part of my tweens and teens, and got me started on a life-long fascination with ninjas and enhanced my already strong love for the martial arts in general, as well as action cinema featuring martial arts. I could honestly take or leave "Enter the Ninja," but "Revenge of the Ninja" is among my all-time fav martial arts/ninja films produced during the heyday of the ninja craze during the '80s, much more so than "American Ninja" (which I also have a nostalgic fondness for). "Ninja 3: The Domination" was an interesting curiosity for the mash-up of genres, especially since I also loved films featuring supernatural horror. It had great martial arts scenes, and its opening sequence featuring the evil ninja mystic killing those rich people on the golf course and then fighting the police was awesome to behold. Though it isn't mentioned here, as it was released by Trans World, not Cannon, I also loved "Pray for Death," which compliments these Cannon releases quite well, and which many consider the last truly great ninja film made during the peak of the "ninjamania" phenomenon during the '80s, and also the last stellar ninja film starring Sho Kosugi before his films began going downhill with turkeys like Kosugi's "9 Deaths of the Ninja", which made the awful attempt to inject a comedic tone into a ninja film (Kosugi is a great martial arts actor, but he is no Jackie Chan, who is talented at mixing humor with martial arts action). Nevertheless, I also liked "Rage of Honor," a Kosugi action film from later in the '80s, but it certainly did not compare to the trilogy from Cannon and the aforementioned 1985 entry from Trans World. My dream Blu-ray would be one that had the Ninja Trilogy from Cannon with Trans World's "Pray for Death" included. Those four films are what made the ninja craze of the '80s great.

Snake Eyes? Storm Shadow was the one that got me and my friends into ninjas as well as Sho Kosugi.

I loved Enter the Ninja. Haven't seen the other ones but i liked Lucinda Dickey in Breakdance so might have to check her out in the third one. Sho Kosugi was class in everything.

I will say that 9 Deaths of the Ninja was laughably bad even by Canon standards. Hated it with a passion. But Revenge of the Ninja is by far my favorite! Prompted my purchase of my first ninja outfit in the 80's!!! Wore it till it fell apart. LOL. Although later I did train in battojutsu so I have that going for me. Which is nice. LOL.

I played in the pit orchestra for Jordan Bennett’s show several times(Secord in Ninja III). Super nice guy. He’s so funny; I’d have to look away to concentrate on the music. I got a few Sho stories out of him too.

Sho Kosugi was the most legitimate looking and acting ninja ever. The man epitomized what a real ninja fought like and represented. So was the Ninja Enforcer played by Richard Norton and the head ninja played by Tadashi Yamashita in Chuck Norris' The Octagon.

Cannon were something special. Watch the documentary about the rise and fall of Cannon. Hilarious watch. They still made a lot of good memories like these Ninja movies for example.

Man as a kid this was near the level if star wars for me…everyone wanted to be a ninja and back then the costumes were so hard to find…. Well a good one at least
