Bassist typically don't get enough credit. You need a good bassist with her voice. She hits the higher notes well and needs the deep notes to balance it out. They have done a very nice job as a band. Major credit to them, great song. Definitely a track the needs to he on repeat.

Same here! I instantly fell in love with their sound, a bit of synthwave with a sort of cyberpunk/neo-noir vibe, which is right up my alley. It immerses me in the worlds of Blade Runner and Drive as I listen. I'll definitely have to check out The Marias, as well.

While I get what you’re saying, and the tops hits radio certainly isn’t packed full of talent, I would argue there’s an immense amount of talent out nowadays. Surely more than ever before with the population increase, technological advancements, digital age leading to freedom of information/learning/skills, and all of the various outlets for creatives that have never existed before. I fancy myself rather picky when considering artists talent and depth, listen to all genres, and I’d say I find on average one or two new artists each week that are genuinely talented and bringing something new to the world. Never a better time to be a connoisseur of music, I dare say.

I recommend listening to Tribal Seeds or Rebelution for an original take on this sound. This band is good, but extremely derivative. Nothing really original from the handful of songs I've heard by them. The music is good, just nothing noteworthy given what else is out there.

The first song I’ve ever heard (it was at work), was “Fire for You”. I stopped what I was doing and asked who the song (Fire for You), is by? That was in the beginning of this year (2023). And now I’m officially hooked. What an amazing band. If their music, and her hypnotic voice doesn’t relax you, I don’t know what will. Cannons, you definitely have a fan for life in me. ❤

I thought it was just that one song in this style of hypnotic and ethereal voice, mixed with a certain instrumental I really like, almost like 'new wave funk'? There's a specific genre I heard somewhere but can't remember the specifics, but have been trying to make a Playlist for it since 🫠 It reminds me of a few 80's songs mixed with modern Electronica. Kind of like that song by Billy Idol, Eyes Without A Face imo 🤷

Some reggae vibes happening here. This group really is the perfect blended style of sounds for me. This is the kind of music that will never get old. She reminds me of a blonde I met. Nothing ever came out, just made out here and there, but there was something about her ill never forget. Maybe her bright blue eyes, possibly her petite figure or the way she moved and smiled. Or the way she spoke. Oh the memories.

This song makes me tear up everytime cause it reminds me of when my mom passed. She was the most beautiful person I’ve ever known but was very Ill. My heart broke everytime anyone was impatient with her cause they just didn’t know what she was going through. I’m happy and very blessed to have had her. To all out there, remember this life is finite and it is worth investing in those you love and making new bonds with new good people worth loving as well!
