This is beyond cool! The touches like the models elevates it to the "Disney GOLD standard" I like how the slides come OUT of the building. The waterfall marque is very nice as well.

When my wife and I visited Europa-Park, Rulantica was still being built. Oh well, just an excuse for us to return to our favorite park in the world some day!

This is great info. Glad to hear you can knock out this park in about 2 hours. I like waterparks, but I love theme parks so I wouldn't want to sacrifice time from Europapark. Totally agree with you that indoor waterparks normally have kind of a tacky feel. I normally avoid them.

Im not far from Europapark, so I know everything about the Europapark Resort and Waterpark. They defently plan to install some water attractions, which you only find in theme parks. Therefore, they gonna build a second slide tower for 2023 and in the near future they will build a second indoor area as big as the excisting one. Originally, it was planned to open the park with both halls. However, they first decided on a hotel that is to open with Rulantica back in 2019. 3 years later, they have a VR underwater attraction, sauna area, a large outdoor area and are already planning the next slide tower. For this season, another water attraction is to be created from summer. Europapark is expanding more and more. Can't wait until the new Voltron Coaster roller coaster opens in 2023.

AQUARENA is a well known and very(!) common austrian/german slide manufacturer in middle europe --> And they are also the *inventor of the Looping Slides* (but meanwhile most of the other manufacturers copied this concept) --> But I think, they are also still the only ones, which have built there rare *double-looping slides* The biggest "problem" at RULANTICA are there Slides itself (at least for german water enthusiasts) --> Because they have decide for ProSlide as there main manufacturer, there slides are really boring in therms of optics..... Normally daylight effects, LED-effects and multimedia/interactive effects are highly(!) common for modern slides in europe....you will also barely find any indoor water parks with ProSlide or White Water West (outside the UK) here. Wiegand Waterrides (German), AQUARENA (Austrian/German) and KLARER Systems (Switzerland) are by far the most common manufacturers in western/middle europe :).

I have recently visited Rulantica and tried the new for 2023 mat racer Vikingløp. The slide was pretty intense. The middle was the most intense sides though. You get some nice speed on them and is a lot of fun.

That body bowl slide looks great, I don’t like falling into the pool head first but the thrill is worth it. That would probly be my favorite slide. I don’t see myself visiting anytime soon tho.

The droptracks slides are snappy enough already haha. Your first expeience here must be so funny!

What a great video about a little-mentioned park. The miniatures in the lobby are unbelievable. But kind of lol at that 3-euro evening "discount." Money's money, I guess!

If you did another countdown of your favorite waterparks, surely this would have to make the list because of the great theming and the fact that the lazy river is basically a dark ride on an inner tube.

Very suprised that you didn't mention about the fake slides themed as snakes that wrap around the real slikes in the outdoor section. Whoever came up with that idea is a pure genius!

Funny you mentioned no attendants atop the slides because that's actually not uncommon with European waterparks. In fact, according to a video I saw on TUBERIDES, wave pools and lazy rivers are nowhere near as common in Europe as they are in America.

I want to go there once, but I also think that proslide was a poor choice for their slides, wiegand or klarer (with all their crazy light and multi media effects) would have been far better, just look at tuberides channel. I also agree with the missing water coaster, but for now an 8 lane mat racer will be installed in late 2022

Der Boden ist sehr rutschig und gefährlich, mein Mann hat sich das Bein gebrochen und es wurde gesagt, dass das in diesen Einrichtungen sehr oft vorkommen. Sie sollten für Krankenhausaufenthalte aufgrund des Bodens verantwortlich gemacht werden
