I loved this lens, and I still miss it after selling 5 months ago. Paired with a 1DX ii, I feel as though I never missed a shot, not matter where the subject was in the from when shooting American football. The AF on this is magnificent and I will most likely be purchasing another.

I know what you mean about the 200-400 being a dream lens. They are much more affordable now in the used market. Have you used this with an additional tele since it does accept them, the range might be useful now and then

Beautiful lenses and great shots. The audio in the video is a bit quiet. Maybe use a lav mic or an external shotgun mic. Thanks for sharing. I love the 200-400 and the 500. I already have the 300 2.8 and I want the 400 2.8 for my next long telephoto. Cheers

Thanks for the video and information.... I am more in the Journalism front and currently using a 70-200mm 2.8L usm II and a 2X Teleconverter III and the images coming out of a 1DX mkii and 1DX mkiii are amazingly sharp and beautiful colors.....way sharper than a 100-400mm Canon IS version 2....

Great video, will be acquiring the Sigma 150-600 C in the interim. I think gonna need atleast triple to budget to pick up one of those lenses. Looks great tho, will be pairing it with the 1DX.

Are you still able to shoot 20fps pairing this with the r6? Or does it dumb it down to 15 or so. I’m thinking about getting one to pair with my r3. Just wondering if you lose any fps
