Hello! I love your videos! Here's the easy way to do what you are describing. In the ML Prefs Menu, go into customize buttons, assign the INFO Button to Zoom x10. Exit the ML Menu. You will then be able to toggle Zoom with the Info button and focus from there! Also, AF works even better when you are recording in 14bit mode. (If you are using the Danne Custom version, the Customized buttons are located in the Movie Menu) Cheers.

Done. The latest build has Set to zoom I think. Excellent none the less.

Yes, I noticed that the af is not reliable and I completely switched to MF (with focus peaking), but this way the AF seems to work well (checked on 15-45mm and 24 Ef with meike adapter). Thank you.

Thanks so much for an excellent tip 👍 I’ve stuck mainly to manual focus for a while due to focus hunting when on auto But will give this a try🙂

Same technique that I usually use but not possible with a gimbal o handheld stabilizer. Different story with Dannes build and autofocus

Trying to do this with my 22m pancake and it isn't working. Which AF setting are you in with the main UI?

Hey there I just tried it out in all three of the canon autofocus modes and it seemed to work. Not sure what’s going on for you sorry.

@@lumingate thanks for reaching back, it definitely focuses, but the issue is that when I return to live view, not in 10x or 5x view, it freezes unless I hit record.

Is the autofocus activated by pressing the shutter release button for a few seconds focusing on objects in the shot so that the camera recognizes it?

Is there an easy way to adjust the Aperture on a lens without manual aperture ring on the lens? Also, how do you get the Canon UI to display?

Yes if you press the info button it cycles through the gui!

So you partner the iphone 15 for wide and the eos m for what focal length? I really enjoy this perspective I have the 12 pro max but I definitely would get the 15 pro max if this works together nicely 😮 do you recommend this
