Ahh. I didn’t use a 5d to vlog before. But once I prop it down the wobble stops. It’s when I’m holding it and is fully zoomed out at 15mm the wobble is very obvious. So I’m going to do some texting to see how to overcome it.

Files are huge but manageable. It’s 4k so that’s something you just have to get used to. For rendering I reckon so far Final Cut Pro is the best software to go with. I tried it on my 64gb 2020 16inch MacBook pro using Premiere and it’s laggy. Final Cut pro on the other hand was smooth.

Nope. Shot 60fps and 120fps for around 2 hours. I didn’t turn the camera off as well. Using the Angelbird 512gb cfexpress for the whole recording. Pretty impressive. 👌🏻😁

For this video I didn’t use proxies. The 24p is recorded in IPB format and the 60p 120p is recorded in All-I. However, I think it depends on the hardware you’re editing on as well. I’m editing on a 2019 16inch mbp (64gb ram).
