Canon Selphy CP1500 - A first look and thoughts

The Canon Selphy CP1500 is the perfect tiny printer for your basic photo needs. It offers a quality print for very cheap. In this video, I printed 5 images through it, some color some black and white and I am blown away by the results. I used images taken with an iPhone and a professional camera, and both turned out great.

Hey Scrips, when printing your b & w photos, does the printer print your photos as edited, or does the printer do its own converting color photos to black and white? Thanks. Subbed.

Hey, does yours suffer from any weird white/cloud-like vertical lines when you print? I think noticeably on the blue to purple shades of colours. And does yours often come out detailed? I tried printing out one from a 5dsr and it came out pretty blurry.

Does your model print a vertical faded line on each photo? I changed 2 in service, with same problem...

As far as I know, that's a characteristic of every Selphy model. The line is always there.

Have somebody use canon selphy with a batery? How many images is posibile to print with a full batery?

I was just checking this. Canon says that the original battery can do around a hundred "L" sized pictures - which should be the largest ones. So quite a lot actually.

Where did you buy the battery from? Ive been searching and can’t seem to find it, not even on Amazon
