Are you going to replace the front and rear main seals while you have it apart? That and a new valve cover gasket seem to be what should be replaced while you’re at it. Keep that pretty engine looking good.

Bearing SHOULD not have play Only type would be plain bearings (mains/ connecting rods) hence thrust shims , thrust checks
