Firstly, let me commend you on an amazingly beautiful video. You really brought Canterbury to life and truly made me want to visit. I particularly enjoyed the spiritual and religious nature you brought to this video and it seems as if you really enjoyed this pilgrimage. Considering we are a very small country, and living within just an hour or so from much of our history, I have never visited much of it eg, Canterbury is only around an hour's drive from me, and I have only ever driven thru it😮 Seen much of the London stuff, as I lived in S. London for nearly 60 years, now living in East Sussex. Nicely put together video......well done mate.

I love England and the British Isles in general. There is so much historic heritage and so much to do and see- especially if you're interested in the dark ages. I wish I could live there- I live in the USA here.

Canterbury is not a 'holy' city. It's a beautiful place that has a cathedral in it that used to be a site of pilgrimage until the Reformation. You might make the case that the cathedral is a holy place but the city is just a large town that doesn't really pay much attention to the big church hidden behind the walls of its precinct. Most people are vaguely proud to have an impressive medieval cathedral where they live, but it plays no part in their lives beyond that, which I feel it should to justify your description.

No,doubt a lot of the locals just take for granted the fact that they live close to what is probably the finest building in the World. I never cease to be amazed by the indifference of the masses to what are man’s greatest built achievements.
