It just felt normal we would never win that award for some reason. Same with the Selke, Hart and Art Ross until the 2010 and 2011 team won it. All that’s left is the Vezina.

these nhl players make millions and are fearless on the ice, but what you notice year after year is how nervous majority of the players are when giving a speech at the nhl awards. Public speaking is a frightening thing! but geez, Quinn was so poised when giving his speech and looked very comfortable speaking in front of hundreds of ppl. This is your captain, Vancouver. He's gonna lead you to a cup.

Quinn Hughes was literally one of the top 3 best D men at defensive chance suppression, expected goals against & successful defensive zone exits, PLUS he has monster offensive skills. Dude absolutely deserves the Norris.

Quinn Hughes was literally ridiculous when it came to puck possession and great with other defensive metrics. +39 doesn’t hurt either. Anyone else would have been the wrong choice

He was one of the top 3 best Dmen at defensive chance suppression the same way EK was last season whe he won the Norris. The Norris Trophy has become the Dmen with the most pts.

It's crazy that you can win being best defence player with literally no defending skills. In the future just give it to player who gets most points. This award has become a joke, he is basically forward not defence man. Every defending stats support my opinion, he is not defender, period.

i think you either dont watch him enough or you lost sight of the bottom line. what better way to defend then hold onto the puck the whole time. what is your definition of defending? when he's on the ice, he has the puck... what more do you want? he doesnt defend by hitting, he defends by getting to the puck faster than anyone else, and skating it out of the zone. who cares how you get the puck as a defender, as long as you get it and take it out of the zone. Whats the goal of a defender? he's +38. there was a long long game stretch him and hronek werent getting scored on. cant remember how many games it was but it was insane. maybe someone else here can help me out with that
