The Canucks continued their offseason business on Tuesday by locking up Arturs Silovs on a two-year contract! We welcome Kevin Woodley from ‪@InGoalMedia‬ to discuss the signing, Silovs' workload next season with Thatcher Demko, and the goaltending depth as a whole. The Canucks need to find out what they have with Silovs so they can decide whether or not he is going to be Demko’s replacement in 2 years. So give him 30+ starts.

demko is injured prone after past 3 seaons.. Silovs is our future

Would be ideal to have Demko play max 50-55 games so hopefully they can keep him healthy. Hopefully Silovs can be solid enough to get enough w's where they don't have to play Demko too often.

We don't have goalies in Canada because until they get to Junior the only training we have for the kids is all the players shooting pucks as hard as they can at them in practice.

If Demko is healthy all season he is getting 52-58 starts. 45 starts max is delusional little man.

Thatcher Demko never had a SV% as low as Art Silov's .898% playoff SV% so curb your enthusiasm for this guy, Art Silovs will be a career backup or a Stuart Skinner calibre / not good enough starter in the NHL.
