hi, In the new mockup options, that is on the left side on the homepage, with all the 1000's new mockups, I cannot choose the control panel to choose a color for my mockup. I can only change the design size or placement. All mockups are white. I really need darker colors. Like in the "old" version, which is still available but with less mockups, I can choose the control panel and change the mockup color. Is this a bug in my version?

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm making workbooks for my online course, and have used Diana's tutorial using tables to good effect. Now, I can use a mockup like this to put sample interior pages in to use for promo pieces for the course. I'm going to be putting the full workshop as a workbook paperback on Amazon, and this kind of interior of a book will be fantastic for the A+ content on the sales page. I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to do this, and now, you've given me a simple solution! And, mazel tov to you and Diana - you two make an unstoppable pair!

And I'm rather the opposite - I want to see design that will stand the test of time and not be out-of-date in days or weeks. But, you are right that it's good to have some of those trends to keep up with posts that will have a short half-life anyway.

It’s so good the way you do it. I like the fact that you can see your chest and head without a background. Not just the head. What software do you use for that? will you please do a video on how to make mug mockup with a seamless design ? without the mockup looking weird for example an image of a mug with a seamless pattern that cover the whole surface of the mug? because the image is square and its hard to make it look natural? that would be really helpful. or is that an option if we just do a smart mockup? if so can you do a smart mockup version for a seamless pattern on a mug that cover the full frame of the mug? thanks so far i don't see anyone doing a video of that

I'm not sure what you are asking can actually be done in Canva. The Canva Print option for mugs probably won't let us print over the entire mug 🥺

Do you mean to separate your work into different folders in Canva? IF that is what you are asking for, you'll need a Canva Pro subscription because free users can only create 2 folders. Pro can create unlimited folders.

I answered that Q in another comment. Canva doesn't offer chroma key functionalities as of today. So you can't really achieve what you are asking with only Canva. We use Premiere Pro to do this.

How do you save a smart mock up like in the example of the TikTok creation? How do you save the phone with the tiktok page attached for future use?

You can use your mockup in a Canva design, in which case it will be saved with your other designs or you can download it as an image.

Yes, Canva is currently working on a new version of their Mockup app, it should launch in a couple of weeks. Patience. In the meantime, Smartmockups is still available via "Apps" > Smartmockups via from the Canva homepage.

Canva has some frames that look like a phone. You can drop both photos and videos in these frames. Look for them under the “Elements” tab in the Canva Editor > frames.

Hi there Soni, I just tried from my iPad and the process is exactly the same. Select your photo >> Edit image button >> Smartmockups.

It should be via the “Edit image” button with an image selected.

Simply create a document the size of the photo you need for the passport, add a grid into the page and paste your photo

It should be there for both. Just pick an image first, add it then you'll see the edit image button!

If you are asking for Smartmockups, I don't think you can use it on mobile for now. But the other features that are under " *Edit image* " on desktop like Adjust, Filters, ... are also on the mobile app and website. Just not under Edit image, but as individual items in the menu when you have a photo selected.
