Awesome drive to a few very awesome overlooks. Worth the time.
Extensive high desert vistas, 22 mile drive on paved road to the Needles Overlook, a 1500 foot high mesa overlooking the Needles District of Canyonlands Natl Park. 16 mile graded gravel to the Anticline Overlook. Great view of Colorado river and the geologic anticline. 52 miles NW of Monticello. Great 1/2 day event.
