For 2023, Canyon has given the Torque:ON a big overhaul. Now featuring a new suspension layout and tweaked geometry, it’s designed to be a mini downhill bike that can blast down bike park trails at breakneck speeds - it’s a bike that solidly pigeonholes itself into the freeride genre.

Canyon: Please release the Strive:ON for order in the United States. I want to order one now. I'm stuck between buying this bike and another because I don't want to miss riding this summer. Excellent job on moving to Bosch; that is why I didn't order a Canyon in the past. I would also like to see the Bosch on the Torque:ON.

@@mechpade For real? Bummer. Maybe just sneak over the border and pick one up from a friend. Apparently the Strive:ON is available in Europe, but not the US, and no one can give me a release date. Bike is finished, supply chain is already in place, but the bike is unavailable. Super weird. I'm sure lots of good brands ship to Canada; I'm checking out the Polygon Collosus n8e.

Hi. Nice review! Did you have issues with pedal strikes on the climbs and/or descents? Is the bottom bracket too low? I'm not aware of the bb height measurements, but the previous model had a low bb height that was problematic.

Hey, thanks very much! On particularly rocky climbs I did have a pedal strike or two but nothing out of the norm really. On the descents I had no issues with pedal strikes.

Did you hear any shimano rattle? is the motor EP801 version ? I could not hear it in the video.

No rattle on this bike, and I think it's the EP800.

Just about to buy one I’m 5,11 and I do like to be able to drop my seat post a good bit over jumps thinking medium or would you say large please help

So I rode a large and I'm 5'10". If I were to buy this bike I would go for a medium for agility.

The drinking bottle leaks while driving and drains water along the frame. is this a feature or a bug?😅

Admittedly what we were riding wasn't the most suitable to really stretch the Torque:ON's legs, but there was a section or two where it's lust for speed crept through.
