To me, it wasn't real love. The weakness of Lucifer is his pride. Sabrina was a manifestation of his pride and glory. He saw his legacy and future in her. I believe his attachment to her was more possessive than love-driven. But a lot of girls watch this show and obviously want him to be capable of love, so who knows. Maybe the writers did intend for him to love his daughter.

Well, if my theory about Lucifer being a narcissist is true, than it's correct. There's no actual "parental love" to speak of here. Or at least in its traditional meaning. Lucifer probably just saw in Sabrina Morningstar his own "reflection" and his descendant, who should continue his job and match his ideals. As most narcissistic parents do. So, for Lucifer she was just an extension to himself.

False, the intentions of handling the celestials in general are simply to demean and soften them. This show literally has the worst celestial take that I have seen yet, and I thought supernatural was bad, this show is ass and I didn’t know that until the S2 Finale and then I found out the writers are the same team who wrote for riverdale so then it all made sense Not to mention I caught the credits with Greg berlanti who is a creep running the show

Well he was upset because Sabrina Spellman wasn’t Sabrina Morningstar, he loved the other part of her. I think he wasn’t expecting her to die, when he heard that, he just felt so bad because there’s no way for him to see her again.. (even when we all know she came back to life, it’s official)

i dont think so because sabrina intercepted again at a time before caliban even put her in stone. so her doing that eliminated the sabrina stuck in the 9th circle instead of meeting at the point to switch with stone sabrina. if that makes sense lol

He doesn't think of Spellmen as his child because she lied him, she didn't happily take up the throne. He doesn't love anyone, we see that with his treatment of Lilith, he doesn't love her but he can't let her go because she is his property and therefore cannot be afford a life outside of his needs and wants so she couldn't have marry Mary Warwell's boyfriend ''Adam" because he needs her but he doesn't have room in his heart to love, he may of loved once when he was a fallen angel as Lilith said to Sabrina, she clinges onto this idea that he was nice when they meet, and she visionilities this so strongly because she stuck in an abusive relationship. As for his daughter Sabrina Spellmen, she denited him at every chance she got, she hated the Dark's Lord's Practices as we see throughout the Show her challenging everything around her, why kill a w Witch for the Feast of Feast? etc. But she loves things to go her own way, she loves control, so does her dad so their in a constant battle but then she had to compete in the unholy regainal and her father thought: it was a good game of "tug" between us but I one, she finally my little princess but then he finds Sabrina actually won, she got everything, to be a Spellmen and a MorningStar, to not have give up anything, her friends (who Sabrina MorningStar in another reality would out life ever her Witch Friends as she is The Devils Daughter would eventually have to do) Hope you get it now!

@@teyagould5823 I see your point but can you blame her? Her father wanted her there for his own benefit, as another commenter said he has no room in his heart for love. With that being said there really isn’t anyone to blame, Lucifer only acknowledges that she’s HIS daughter because of the ‘other Sabrina’ had the dream to become queen. Sabrina had a right to choose her fate either way she’s his daughter i mean if you think about it she was just somewhat of a favor? Because her mother couldn’t or had trouble having a child so Lucifer got her pregnant with the acceptation of her becoming half mortal half human once she became old enough he manipulated her any way possible and took it upon himself to decide her fate. Yes, he’s her father but he only wanted her if she followed his path. We know Sabrina and we know she’s most definitely not 100% like her father she’ll fight for her friends and family or anyone in need. I really wish we or had more background info on her parents and her mothers in counter with Lucifer, and more. But this is simply just what I think!

I know how unlikely this is, but I'm still toying with the idea that Caliban is actually the son of the swamp witch Sycorax (like in Shakespeare's play) and that he's either been stolen and had his memories wiped and enchanted so that he'll appear to be made of clay by the plague kings (creating a puppet to challenge the throne and rule how they want so they'll basically rule through him) or that Sycorax made herself a baby boy out of swamp mud or clay because she was lonely and wanted a child of her own and knew that he'd never know other people so he'd never look at her like she was hideous and then was stolen and had his memories wiped by the plague kings (for the exact same reason as above). I can still see her with her hand brushing back his hair and her beard tentacles caressing his face while he's looking horrified and confused and while she's saying 'my beautiful boy'

When she was shot, she had another power, not the witch's. Then she has lost them and then Lilith gave her the witch's power, so she wasn't so powerfull after that.

After the producers decided Sabrina would have been Lucifer's daughter, the show started to look like Riverdale.Every Spellman has an evil twin, it is a characteristic of Spellman family and it is not linked to Satan. Salem should have had more screen time, but I’m glad that Sabrina didn't end up with Harvey.

Luke Cook is a great actor but the writing of Lucifer got sloppier over time. He is the friggin' devil needs more power. He shouldn’t be in every scene ever and bested by silly things. The spear of Longinus should’ve be used on Lazarus and that’s all as it’s almost cheesy to "kill" the devil

@@suicidekiwi7215 But this same teen show had Sabrina gaining the power to grant without incantation, which was Lucifer’s doing because he chose her to be Herald of Hell. She resurrected Melvin and Elspeth! Lucifer should’ve been able to resurrect Sabrina himself. This same teen show also had Sabrina in charge of dragging souls to hell in one episode, which was part of Lucifer’s job too.

If I could write this show I would, Sabrina should have accepted her fate as the queen of hell and ruled beside her father. It would be way more interesting to see basically a female Lucifer. I like they incorporated Hecate into the story that was nice, but idk There’s something missing. Hecate is powerful asf and I feel like they could have used her more in the story. This show became riverdale in the last few episodes I stg.

For anyone who is confused as to why Lucifer doesn't like/care about Sabrina Spellman - She is from an alternate universe from a future that never happened because she came back and changed it. Sabrina Spellman and Sabrina Morningstar are not the same person/soul. Sabrina Morningstar is the Sabrina we had been watching since season one.

he calls he false daughter because there were two Sabrina's, Morningstar and Spellman from different points in an unclosed time loop. Sabrina Morningstar accepted him and became queen of hell. Sabrina Spellman did the opposite and full out rejected him and his way of life. they are essentially the same person but in his mind Sabrina Morningstar is the 'true' Sabrina- while Spellman is a false version in his mind. I think it is easier for him to want to accept Sabrina Morningstar who loved him as the real daughter than the Sabrina who hates him and rebels against him. the logic is difficult as they are technically the same person- but hey it's magic

He didn't love her, if anything he was prideful of her. I really doubt he was capable of love, if anything like any Psychopath he saw Sabrina as an extension of himself. This is probably why Sabrina Morningstar spoke well of him, she was doing what he wanted, even if it was her own way. It really bothers me that people overlook huge red flags, just because they think the character is hot.
