True were only human, however the ps1 didn't even release until 1994 so yeah very unlikely re original would even have been in development as the snes and Sega were the Dominic consoles at the time the only thing that really saw true 32 bit graphics for PCs in a time, actually I wonder when the original re did start development ? The thing is, RE4 didn't needed a remake, RE4R didn't changed that at all. RE4R is a great game no doubt, but RE4 still holds its own to the point that some prefer it to the remake and even those that prefer the remake tend to agree that the remake doesn't replace the OG. This is not a RE1 being replaced by RE1R case. There's a difference between having a good remake and needing one. There are other games that are in more dire need of a remake than RE1 or 4 like Code Veronica with that horrible backtracking, inventory issues when switching character, the moth hall or the fact of them being in Antarctica gets ignore when they walk around in short sleeves in the middle of blizzards or Zero with the lack of item box, clunky partner system boring story while both are a snore-fest. Also you are acting like Capcom has some flawless track record in remakes when RE3R is a turd and RE2R has a lot of cut content like the butchered A/B scenarios

You all are absolutely wrong 100%. The remakes and the RE Engine introduced the newer generation of gamers to a dying series. Had it not been for the remakes or the RE Engine then we probably wouldn't even be typing in this comment section right now and Resident Evil would be a thing of the past. Forgotten and never to be played again. Resident evil 1 remake graphics don't hold up to the RE Engine standards. It needs to be modernized and remade because now the newer generation are becoming curious about the story and the characters that are mentioned on the remakes. They don't know of Chris Redfield or Albert Wesker. They can go and play the original games any time but the tank controls and fixed camera angle aren't easy to use and they'd put the controller down out of boredom and frustration. Resident evil 0, 1, CVX and 5 and 6 are being remade whether people want them or not. They are out dated and do NOT hold up to the modernized visuals we have today. Theyre wonderful games, but it would he selfish for fanboys to not want them remade. They're not sacred and the newer generation should be able to experience the game and enjoy it like we did as well. I dont understand why the older generation is getting upset about them being remade, because in order for a series to evolve and progress them they need to be updated and modernized to keep up with the competition franchises. Had it not been for the remakes then Capcom would most likely be bankrupt. You can't stay stuck in your generation forever. You have to be willing to try new things and accept that videogames are evolving into realism. If you don't like the remakes then you don't have to play them. Simple as that.

dino crisis would be really cool. i dont think they are going to stop with the re remakes sense they make money, but remaking this stuff wouldn't be a bad idea ether. never played dino crisis but i saw gameplay of the original and Yesh I'm on board with you on it.

@@Dunkinarts i would never say not to resident evil 1 remake . the first remake is the best resident evil game by far , especially if u try the ranbdomizer mod oh is that a mind phuck , but we have a generation of people who grew up with resident evil 5 and never even played the first one , andf a remake of that would entice a whole generation poluse all the people who loved the first one like my self , hell i beat the orginal one when i was 6 years old

@@ssjgoat2786 oh i got ya and wait, is it a remake or a remaster? my dad said it was more of a remaster but maybe we got that wrong. but yesh i would say resident evil 5 remake would be awesome. i'm pretty sure they are probably going to do all of em, including 5, but yesh if that is next or even if this might be just rumors and this may turn out to be 5 but yesh i'm pretty much excited for what is to come. and yesh i've heard of the randomizer mods and they are funny as hell. god its so unexpected but god i think it makes everyone's experience just that more fresh. 😅

@@Dunkinarts the first resident evil had a remake for gamecube than they added an hd version for more current game systems, but the one that i did the randomizer for was the remake hd version on steam . i use a modmanager that inserts mods into every resident evil on steam 1-8 plus both revelations . the mod manager is fluffy mod manager, but thst randomizer changes every item location , every door leads into a different room , every spot with enemeies will have a different enemey , for example the hallway downstairs thst has the 3 zombies it switched them to tyrants for me. ,and guns are radomized as well , so if u pick up the berreta u may get screwed and get a green herb instesd, but they do put all the weapons and items in there but they will be somewhere else and u can adjust wat gets randomized and finally u can radomize it as many times as u want. it was such a great experince with resident evil 1

Outbreak files was my JAM! I never got to beat it but when I was younger I'd go over to my uncle house to play out break file 2 on his 360. The good ol days!

They are actually the only RE games I haven't played.. I remember someone telling me back in the day that outbreak files has a freaking zombie elephant 🐘 at a zoo area. But I don't know if it's true

The game was better as co-op. The AI was honestly one of the few things holding it back. Playing with friends was hella fun.

If it's to come out I hope not either. I think the only remake they've really fluffed up was the Resident evil 3 remake. To much cut content on that one.

They never fucked up any of the remakes, not even 3. The only people that hate 2 remake are the ungrateful fanboys who have high standards and find shit to complain about. They'll buy the game, ply the game, BEAT the game and STILL find something stupid to whine about. If 3 was so bad then nobody would have beaten it.

Just because people beat the game does not mean it did well 'critically'. 3 was the worst received out of all the remakes due to cut content and being sold at a full triple a budget price. People bought it assuming that it will hold up to the standards of the originals and it's remake counterparts. They cut out so much like the clock tower and some boss fights. The game was okay but criticizing aspects and elements of a video game is crucial for studios too learn their mistakes and not repeat them over again. That's why 4 did so well.

Re4 remake really recaptured that lighting in the bottle for me like it did back on 2005. Im currently replaying 4 rn!

I literally say take everything in this video with a grain of salt. Minimal research means you didn't research enough and tones of leaks are saying resident evil 9 could possibly feature returning characters such as Leon Jill and Chris etc. none can be 100 percent confirmed til Capcom say so. I'm no making anything up just saying what leakers are saying buddy.
