Its not really a "crossroads". It's at the bottom of the map and the city is at the bottom of the country. It was only a "crossroad" prior to the Suez Canal when the shipping needed to go around the southern tip of Africa. Thats not the case anymore.

...who wrote this? The covid restrictions coming into Cape Town ended in what, late 2021? And the City drought ended 4 years ago in 2019, our dams are sitting at over 100%, certainly above 70% this entire year.

I really wish narrators would be a bit more respectful and pronounce names of places better. If a tourist has to ask a local for directions with this videos' pronunciation the locals would never understand what/where you mean. It would certainly give them a good laugh tho.
